動名詞も不定詞も、動詞の後に続いて使われることがありますが、動詞によっては決まったものしか使わないことがあるので注意が必要です。
感覚的には、
動名詞は、過去（ないし現在）のことを表現するときに使われることが多いです。
不定詞は、未来のことを表現することが多いです。
